AIC Empowers

AIC empowers is one of Africa in colors programs, focusing on empowering young Africans on skills required to position themselves on the job market, by using the culture and creative industry as a tool.
The program is a panafrican program, however 2023 had a focus on Rwanda only.
The AIC empowers is run in collaboration and partnership with various partners from across Africa and beyond.

Over 700 young people from across 10 African countries took part in a 3D modeling training in partnership with Netinfo

In partnership with:

30 young people from Rwanda took part in a training around 3D modeling in partnership with Netinfo

In partnership with:

150 young people from Rwanda. Some 30 students took part in a training around 3D modeling, 20 around entrepreneurship in the culture and creative industry and 100 participated in practical programs in the AIC festival

Some of these trainings were in partnership with Netinfo, Unanimous Games, LAFAAAC, Positive Production and MOCA

In partnership with:

34 young people are part of our 2023 cohort, and are being trained around gaming, animation, music business, and entrepreneurship.
This training will provide a unique opportunity to these young Rwandans to pitch their work at the upcoming festival, which will provide more opportunities to them to access the market, investment and growing.
This training is in collaboration with Guez Show and in partnership with the Bank of Kigali and Mastercard foundation
